British actress Ellise Chappell is perhaps best known for performing in National Youth Theatre productions including Merchant of Venice, Wuthering Heights and Consensual.

However, in 2016 she made the leap from stage to screen in television series New Blood, and later this year she'll be seen starring in brand new fantasy drama, The Last Dragonslayer, based on the first of Jasper Fforde’s series of novels. Her success looks set to continue into the new year, after the talented actress was cast in popular BBC One series Poldark, in which she will play Morwenna, Elizabeth Chynoweth's cousin, set to air 2017.
